About the project

This international project explored how educational board games can encourage critical thinking, media literacy and active participation among young people.

During the Berlin study visit, participants explored misinformation, propaganda and the influence of narratives through expert-led sessions and practical activities. They also tested existing educational games and developed new game concepts using creative methods, rapid prototyping and 3D-printed elements.

The project was designed and coordinated by Initiative Mittel- und Osteuropa (InMOE) in Berlin. IDEA was its Georgian partner and prepared the study week in Telavi. The core group was twenty participants, ten from each country, and all workshops were held in English.
