Who we are

About IDEA

IDEA – Inclusive Development & Empowerment Alliance is a youth-led non-profit organisation based in Georgia, established in 2023. Working at local, national and international levels, IDEA promotes non-formal education, youth participation, social inclusion and international cooperation.

Since its establishment, IDEA has actively developed and implemented international projects in cooperation with partner organisations across Europe, including Germany, Spain, Latvia and Portugal. Through Erasmus+ programmes, international partnerships, workshops and community-based initiatives, the organisation creates opportunities for young people to learn beyond traditional educational settings, explore new perspectives, develop practical skills and engage with different cultures and communities.

IDEA combines international learning experiences with local action. Its activities use participatory, experiential and creative educational methods to encourage critical thinking, collaboration, active citizenship and personal development. Particular attention is given to making educational opportunities accessible to young people from diverse backgrounds, including those facing social, geographical or economic barriers.

Beyond connecting young people with international opportunities, IDEA aims to strengthen their capacity to contribute to their communities. We believe that meaningful learning happens through experience, exchange and active participation, and that positive change begins with empowered individuals and engaged communities.
