Human Rights – International Youth Exchange
Young people from Georgia, Spain and Morocco, brought together by human rights
About the project
IDEA participated as a partner in an international youth exchange connecting young people from Georgia, Spain and Morocco through the shared theme of human rights.
The programme explored freedom of expression, access to education, gender equality, environmental protection, digital safety and human rights in conflict situations. Through non-formal education and intercultural activities, participants strengthened their understanding of diversity, equality and solidarity.
Twenty-one young people took part: seven from Spain, eight from Georgia and six from Morocco. The first part took place in the Spanish village of Jorquera, the second in Georgia, in Tbilisi and the mountain resort of Bakuriani.
English was the working language, and music, dance and theatre helped to bridge language gaps: all three groups learned each other's traditional dances.
